Dear Towhid Bhai,
Your piece of word really touches me and can't wait to respond and convey BIG THANKS on behalf of Mortoja and all of our Friends from Physics. You are really a great person who even don't know us and increase your hand to save Mortoja. I salute this humanity.
We wish to have your Sympathy and Doa this way and Allah will definitely give Mortoja and his family a strength to survive from this situation.
Thanking you

My dear Tamal,
As you and I are a generation (1 and 1/3rd would be more accurate) apart, I hope I call you (affectionately) by your nickname. You may call me Towhid bhai in the same tradition.
We felt an urge to do something about Mortoja. The amount we raised is small, but our sympathy is large. We hope these little amounts will add up to something significant, and our and all of your prayers will move the All Powerful.
I learned from Mrs. Islam, who is my wife, that Mortoja's mother is with her son. There is nothing like a mother's love and prayer. Seeing her will certainly lift his spirit. Mortoja is also fortunate to have friends like you.
Our prayers are for Mortoja's recovery, and for the alleviation of pain and suffering of his family, relatives, and friends.
Yours,
Towhid bhai

Subject: RE: Contribution for Mortoja
Dear Dr Quazi T. Islam
Just informed from Ivy (Mortoja's wife) that Dr Shaheen Islam has contacted her and confirmed receipt of US$1050. Ivy is so grateful and advised me to convey her thanks to all of you.
Thanks very much for responding our appeal.
Kind regards,
F M Asad Hossain Tamal &

Dear Mr. Hossain,
We learned about Mortoza's health and the plight for help from Mr. Mir Naser in the FaceBook. We are alumni of Dhaka University Physics, and belong to a group called Harippa (details at the end of this message). We are saddened that he contracted leukemia, and we can hardly imagine the pain the young family is going through. We hope that treatment of this early-stage leukemia will be fully successful.
We have raised some money to help the Mortoza family. One of us, Dr. Shaheen Islam, is now in Dhaka. She will contact Mortoza family on or after May 10, and will make an arrangement to deliver it.
We shall be grateful if you could e-mail confirmation of the receipt of the money. Would it also be possible to keep us posted periodically on his health?
We pray that Mortoja gets well.
Sincerely, on behalf of Harippa,
Dr. Quazi T. Islam (Towhid)
